Senior Civil Bidding Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Bidding Preparation: Lead the preparation of bids for civil works in Renewable energy projects, including reviewing RFPs, developing bid strategies, and coordinating with internal teams (design, procurement, finance) to compile comprehensive bid submissions.
• Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed cost estimations for civil components of renewable projects, including site preparation and foundations.
• Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications, risks, and requirements to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to align project objectives.
• Compliance: Ensure all bids comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of bid processes, including bid files, cost estimates, and related communication.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5-8 years in bidding for renewable energy projects and substations (PEA, MEA, EGAT).
• Have knowledge of civil design for renewable energy and substation projects.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, especially for projects involving PEA, MEA, and EGAT.
• Proven experience in cost analysis and estimation for civil engineering projects within the Renewable energy industry and Substation.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple bidding projects simultaneously with a focus on delivering high-quality bids on time.
• Possess skills of Analytical thinking, problem-solving, Strategic Planning, Decision making and attention to detail.
