About this position

The Assistant Maintenance Manager will oversee and manage the maintenance operations of a 24/7 Data Center, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the maintenance operations of a 24/7 Data Center, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all Data Center equipment, including HVAC, electrical systems and generators.
- Monitor and manage the performance of contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with service agreements.
- Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate resolution efforts to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and team performance metrics.

Requirements

- A Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a Data Center, High rise building or similar 24/7 critical environment
- Strong knowledge of Data Center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and fire suppression
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
