About this position
Responsibilities
• Lead the creation and development of new menu / products from concept to commercialization.
• Create and manage the budget related to research of product activities.
• Develop and test recipes, ensuring they meet the company's quality and cost standards.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to refine products.
• Stay updated on culinary trends, new ingredients, and technological advancements.
• Integrate innovative ideas and practices into product development processes.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, operation and production teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with market needs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to source new ingredients and technologies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and develop solutions to maintain product consistency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in culinary R&D, product development in supervisory role.
• Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food science and ingredient functionality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and culinary software applications.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
