Procurement and Import Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage sourcing and procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services to ensure timely delivery aligned with operational needs.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with international suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Oversee import and export operations to comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure inventory alignment.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain Approved Vendor Lists (AVL).
• Prepare and analyze procurement reports, KPIs, and budgets to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO and other relevant certifications.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or export-oriented industry.
• English Languages: Exceptional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with international trade laws, customs regulations, and logistics processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with global partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
