About this position

Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing chemical testing, ensuring compliance with standards, and enhancing laboratory efficiency through training and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define the chemical testing topics to align with the standards set by the customer.
• Improve the chemical testing standards to meet the customer’s requirements.
• Organize training and update chemical regulations for the relevant departments.
• Plan and coordinate with the procurement and import departments to follow up on documents related to chemicals.
• Review the calibration plan for measuring instruments.
• Define testing standards and methods that are appropriate for the characteristics of raw materials and products.
• Receive policies and goals from the manager to plan and assign tasks to the team.
• Transfer knowledge and work procedures to employees to enhance their work capabilities.
• Develop a laboratory plan that aligns with the department's goals.
• Evaluate statistical performance in the laboratory to improve efficiency and enhance work quality.
• Collaborate in analyzing the causes of non-compliant products and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate in analyzing the causes and find solutions for operational issues, including managing NCRs received from other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in laboratory work and chemical analysis.
• Knowledge and skills in quality control and instrument calibration.
• Experience in statistical data analysis.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English communication skills.
