Sustainability Executive (ESG)
About this position
The Sustainability Executive (ESG) plays a key role in designing, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This position involves leading projects, ensuring compliance with international ESG standards, analyzing data, and driving collaboration across teams to achieve sustainability goals.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement ESG programs aligned with the company’s sustainability strategy.
• Collaborate with various departments to embed ESG practices into business operations.
• Oversee data collection and analysis to measure ESG performance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders using frameworks like GRI, SASB, TCFD, or CDP.
• Lead ESG-related projects, such as carbon reduction, community development, and governance improvements.
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with ESG-related regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and regulators on ESG matters.
• Represent the company in sustainability forums and industry networks.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading ESG initiatives and managing cross-functional projects.
• In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks and regulations (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, SDGs).
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in ESG data management tools and reporting platforms.
• Understanding of emerging ESG trends, including climate change, diversity, and governance practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
