Consumer Insights Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• The role is expected to manage the following assignments,
• Combine Internal and External data into a single holistic view of the business and monitor the business KPIs on monthly basis and keep challenging self to uncover “so-what” actions
• Periodically provide consumer, channel and category insights to support marketing and commercial team in strategic plans
• Monitor and track brand performance and evaluation of marketing mix
• Lead consumer research both quantitative and qualitative to answer all business questions and support NPD launch in the market
• Liaise with Shopper Insights team to identify the opportunities/gaps to improve the effectiveness of business functions and drive higher business value
• Manage several research agencies within approved budget
• Communicate and embed learnings to increase the impact of insights into action by making them relevant to the Marketing strategy
• Share cumulative knowledge by connecting the dots between consumers and shoppers
• Work cross functionally with Marketing, Commercial, Finance and IT team in data analysis and develop mutual reports
• Coach team members and give them directions with career paths
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree is a must
• MBA is desirable with preferred focus on Strategy, Marketing and Business Management
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research function. Direct experience in FCMG companies is preferred.
• High level of motivation, ambition, drive for excellence
• Splendid presentation skill is a must
• Rockstar in Nielsen and Excel. SPSS is not necessary but an advantage. Knowledge of KANTAR is preferable.
• Sharp, structured, creative problem solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn more about other commercial functions of the organization
• Strong analytical skill with logical thinking process
• Proficiency in English
