About this position

The Engineering & Maintenance Group Manager is responsible for leading the engineering department, ensuring effective maintenance strategies, and collaborating with various departments to optimize plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering department, formulating and implementing action plans aligned with factory policies.
• Recommends in the selection of machine design or modification of existing machines to best fit plant operations.
• Recommends in the plant & building layout in compliance to the required regulation and maintains update layout.
• Responsible for the machine & equipment installation qualification.
• Collaborates with other departments in conducting equipment calibration and validation as necessary.
• Plans and carries out the preventive maintenance program in relation to product scheduling.
• Maintains machine & equipment, plant utility services to the required level of performance.
• Develops efficient and rapid repair of machines to minimize downtime.
• Keep efficient stock level of plant spare part necessary spare parts.
• Maintains and improves plant energy saving program.
• Maintains and improves wastewater treatment process to meet the required standard.
• Implements work safety program for the plant.
• Performs other jobs may be assigned from time to time by Operation Manager and General Manager.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in engineering and maintenance roles, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance strategies, systems, and tools.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
