Protection and Empowerment Coordinator (National Position)
About this position
The Protection and Empowerment Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing program implementation of the Protection and Empowerment Program and supervising Senior Managers/ Deputy Coordinators who are in charge of program management and program technical.
Responsibilities
• Working closely with Senior Protection and Empowerment Coordinator in designing and overseeing assessment or research related to The Protection and Empowerment Program. Coordinate within IRC, partner organizations and relevant stakeholders in generating data and evidence- based document for program design , development of proposals and advocacy for IRC project along Thai Myanmar Border, in the deep south and other related program areas implemented by IRC Thailand
• Work closely with Senior Protection and Empowerment Coordinator for implementing activities contribute to the IRC Thailand Strategic Action Plan.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in protection and empowerment programming, preferably in humanitarian settings
• Strong project management skills and experience in managing teams
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Fluency in English required, proficiency in Thai or Burmese preferred
