Finance Officer (National Position) (2 Positions)
About this position
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking two Finance Officers to support the Finance Department in various financial tasks, ensuring compliance with IRC and donor policies while assisting in the management of financial documents and transactions.
Responsibilities
• Perform support to Finance Department as assigned in preparing cash and bank disbursement, provides initial review to supporting documents in accordance the the IRC/donor policies, managing the financial documents.
• To process all bank/ cash accounting transactions within Mae Sot Finance department, petty cash entries, bank entries, cash count reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Handle all petty cash for the Mae Sot office and accurately record all supporting documents according to payments and receipts. Count the cash daily to ensure it balances, in compliance with IRC/donor regulations.
• Act as Cash custodian of Mae Sot office for cash on hand, perform and document weekly and month-end cash counts.
• Responsible for recording debt establishment and payments in the Integra system on a daily basis.
• Responsible for planning and executing daily payments through the K Cash Connect system accurately, including verifying the account details of the recipients.
• Coordinate closely with Operations team & Program staff to follow-up on invoices for procurement of materials and supplies from supply chain staff and program staff to process payment.
• Perform daily calculations of withholding tax accurately according to the Revenue Department’s regulations and submit it within the specified time frame.
• Assist Finance team to support Warehouse/Supply chain for quarterly cycle count for Pharma /non pharma, Inventory, and As-set in Maesot and Umphang.
• Collaborate with the finance team and program to prepare CVA payments.
• Assist with staff's clearance of cash advance, tracking and reporting on all receivable balances.
• Assist Finance and Operation teams preparing and go to pay stipend to CBA’s in camp.
• Assist Finance team in general support such as going to bank, and document filling system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
