General Manager (Medical Laboratory - Healthcare)
About this position
We are looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead our Thailand core lab operations and drive both commercial and operational growth in alignment with our strategic vision.
Responsibilities
• Develop, align, and execute a strategic vision for the core lab operations of our Innoquest Thailand business, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and objectives.
• Collaborate internally with the rest of the IQ TH & PAH organization, as well as externally with other stakeholders, to ensure that we deliver superior outcomes for patients.
• Identify and lead growth opportunities, including acquisitions, new products, and commercial partnerships, to expand market reach in Thai markets.
• Drive both organic and inorganic growth strategies, capitalizing on commercial opportunities to further the company’s position in the region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, consistently exceeding service quality standards, service level agreements, and turnaround times.
• Oversee and enhance efficient laboratory operations, maintaining top-tier quality services and ensuring that Innoquest Thailand upholds key accreditations, such as CAP accreditation and ISO15189.
• Manage budgets efficiently, ensuring a balance between cost control and investment in growth initiatives.
• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency across lab operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional healthcare qualification is a plus.
• Proven experience in healthcare management, preferably within the pathology sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Proactive leader who always takes the initiative to challenge the status quo and make an impact with their work.
• A detail-oriented mindset with strong process-thinking capabilities.
• Experienced in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Deep network within the private healthcare market in Thailand.
• Strong command of English and Thai languages, with excellent communication skills.
