Specialist Global Quality Customized Solutions
About this position
Ingredion is hiring a Specialist Global Quality Customized Solutions based out of Thailand. The Specialist Global Quality will provide a broad range of quality and technical support to the Customized Solution regionally and globally.
Responsibilities
• Communicate directly and act as a bridge between all the regions and Global team, transferring and coordinating testing methodologies and specification settings processes for Customized Solutions products.
• Support ingredient/raw material and tollers qualification process with applicability to regulatory and QA requirements of the region, working directly with the Global team.
• Work with the technical team and support new solutions development and approval in IPA and local systems.
• Investigate and resolve customer quality issues and communicate the results to the internal groups involved.
• Provide testing support and training related to raw materials/single ingredients and customized solutions to the regional QA groups.
• Track & monitor Quality Solutions quality performance. Ensure non-conformances/non-compliances are identified, addressed, corrected, and resolved.
• Quick resolution of technical problems related to raw materials and systems ensuring issues are addressed without delay to projects and customer’s request.
• Work with commercial team to support global accounts and APAC customers.
• Identify and address capability gaps in terms of knowledge, equipment and processes and work with management to address these gaps.
• Working independently on project assignments. Responsible for completing assigned projects in a timely fashion using an appropriate experimental design and reporting status of projects as they progress with a final summary in the company designated data base system.
• Immediately report major quality and/or food safety failures to your line manager and utilize the regional/global quality resources to manage issues more quickly and effectively.
• Cultivate the food safety culture throughout the organization.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required, MS or equivalent in work history in Quality Assurance.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience working with suppliers and tollers.
• Strong, broad based computer experience. Proficient with SAP, and Microsoft Office. Able to learn new computer programs quickly such as Tracegains and IPA.
• Able to work with minimal supervision to accomplish tasks.
• Skilled at working effectively within a culturally diverse environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relationships and People – Proactively helps others and responds to their business needs to build strong working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change in a large Quality Assurance organization.
• Excellent problem-solving.
