Human Resources Specialist (Bangna)
About this position
The Human Resources Specialist (Bangna) is responsible for delivering, coordinating, and implementing local administrative HR tasks, ensuring front-line support for HR activities such as talent acquisition and work permit applications.
Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate local HR service delivery to ensure risk, compliance, and operational excellence
• Deploy services that are required to be executed at a local level
• Provide input on HR policies, processes and programs to CoEs
• Support end-to-end temporary roles recruitment process including sourcing, candidate pool management, recruitment, and onboarding of contract (FTC) and interns
• Support local learning initiatives including conducting learning needs analysis, developing learning content, delivering training, and managing local logistics
• Drive employee engagement activities
• Support and collaborate with other function within the department to ensure smooth operation
• Responsible for local immigration processes including application for work pass and dependents for foreign employees.
• Coordinates responses to government surveys and requests for information.
• Manage return to work, alternative duty and modification requests – Manager to raise a request for return to work via HR Connect.
• Manage or lead investigations into employee claims of unfair treatment or management charges of misconduct or non-compliance, and communicate findings to manager, HR Business Partner, and/or Legal as appropriate
• Monitor and resolve discipline issues, if appropriate, and if Union-represented, refer to union disciplinary process
• Manage appeals process, conducting meetings, and determinations
• Provides input and coordination of budget for HR within the location.
• Responsible for working with Finance on budget for Thailand regional office and Latest Estimates
• Induction of new hires and offboarding of leavers
• Manage and coordinate local benefits implementation
• Manage documentation of all materials and decisions related to employee and labor relations investigations endeavor
• Manage local community relations, as needed
Requirements
• University Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Work experience as HR Generalist in food and beverage/ FMCG industry. Experience within the manufacturing / HR role would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures and Thailand Employment law
• Working knowledge of immigration procedures, local payroll and taxation policies
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Thai Language
• Experience and familiar working with HR system e.g., Workday is an added advantage
• Establishes good collaboration and exchange
