The Warehouse Manager is responsible for administering and operating the organization's warehouses, overseeing the processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities
• Administer and operate the organization's warehouses
• Process, package, and store supplies, materials, and equipment
• Account for all materials and supplies
• Audit goods received into warehouse
• Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials
• Coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials
• Regulate warehouse space
• Ensure effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance of facilities and equipment
Requirements
• Manage experienced professionals
• Set goals and objectives for team members
• Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
• Manage a staff of professional and support associates
• Make day-to-day decisions for group/department
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities
• Have at least Senior Professional level of experience
• Apply expertise in day-to-day activities
• Require a four-year college degree or relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years functional experience
• Minimum 4 years of position-specific experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or 4 years of leadership experience
