Responsibilities
• Develop business strategies and opportunities with new and existing customers
• Expand existing relationships and develop new relationships
• Build, position, and sell new and advanced solutions, programs, services
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies
• Analyze the viability of alternative business development opportunities
• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial, competitive, sales, marketing, and other information
• Work on projects of limited scope and complexity
• Follow standard practices and procedures
• Resolve issues using company standard policies and procedures
• Requires broad theoretical knowledge
• Typically requires a four-year college degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 years functional experience
Requirements
• 2+ years of B2B technology experience, preferably with cloud/IaaS technology
• Knowledge of professional, effective telephone techniques, and sales skills
• Understanding of strategic selling principles and order management
• Ability to identify cross and upsell opportunities
• Successful track record of new business sales
• Ability to build reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners, and customers
• Develop deep technical and product knowledge
• Competency in building value propositions and positioning strong proposals
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate across all levels
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
