About this position

The Safety Officer at Asia PET (Thailand) Limited in Lopburi is responsible for ensuring the implementation and compliance of safety policies and practices within the company.

Responsibilities

• Update and correct ongoing company safety policy and implementation align with current safety laws and its future change.
• Prepare annual workplan to prevent and reduce hazard, illness consequence of unsafe working conditions and environments in workplace.
• Control and assess performance of company to be in line with SH&E project, plan, procedure or regulation at work and coordinate with all employees in workplace concerning safety matters.
• Analyze work plans and projects as well as recommendations of every working unit, and give advice on safety measures to the employer.
• Create activities to promote safety awareness and safety campaign e.g. monthly safety activities, safety newsletters, etc. which assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety
• At least 5 years of experience in Safety function
• Able to communicate in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to solve problems and corrective / improvement actions for implementation
• Have experience ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 or FSSC22000
• Able to work 6 days per week
