About this position

We are looking for a Country IKEA Food Manager that will attract visitors to the IKEA Thailand stores, encourage IKEA store visitors to stay longer and making it a fun day out for everyone, offering great food with quality at the lowest prices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of the IKEA Food country business plan and work closely with the stores to develop and implement a clear IKEA Food country action plan which is followed up regularly.
• Responsible for creating and implementing the range matrix to secure a strong IKEA Food range identity, using the Democratic Design as a guide.
• Work actively with the Store IKEA Food Managers to make each IKEA store successful and do this by ensuring IKEA Food attract visitors, achieve sales growth and reasonable profitability, customers’ and co-worker’s satisfaction as well as excellent operational performance.
• Ensure substantially lower prices for each product and for each part of the price and quality ladder to enhance the low-price profile of the IKEA stores.
• Ensure that IKEA Sustainability Direction and Strategy are in place.
• Conduct Food Safety checks, Operation review and Functional review and utilise relevant reporting tools to further develop the business.
• Empower, support and coach the IKEA Food teams on the job to help them perform better and grow, and to develop and mentor successor to meet succession needs of the business.

Requirements

• Have at least 5 years of experience in creating and implementing business plan, action plans, setting budgets in a high-volume retail or multi food service industry.
• Have good knowledge on Food Safety, Operation of high-volume food business and Commercial review.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong track-record of managing managers.
• Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to organise, plan and prioritise.
• Takes responsibility and can delegate.
• Communicates well with others and is able to influence and cooperate with different functions.
• Interested to share and impart knowledge to all IKEA Food co-workers.
• Motivated and inspired by the IKEA values.
