Sales Manager (Service Point Bali)
About this position
At IKEA it’s all about our customers, and in Sales and Customer Relations we build and retain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment.
Responsibilities
• Lead by example every day, supporting, challenging and coaching co-workers as a team to focus on putting the customer’s shopping experience first
• Responsibility for department goals and ensure action plan is in place and take action accordingly by using proven solutions and good examples. Ensure that co-workers have the knowledge, confidence, responsibility, authority and desire to support customer
• Take full responsibility for ensuring your shop is in excellent shape as new and fully stocked, and with the four merchandising basics in place at all times (priced, clean, well assembled and available). Passionate about the IKEA products and services in your shop
• Proactively in finding opportunities and acting on them to maximize sales through understanding customers and maximize sales whilst maintaining profitability by knowing and actively steering towards the top-selling and prioritized products, both Offline and Online
• Work actively to support sales and payment to ensure a smooth customer journey Offline and Online. Ensure easy buying by securing shopping tools is always available for customer. Solving problem in relation to customer complaints, operational challenges, and contributes to productivity of your team
Requirements
• A good communicator (both Bahasa & English) who speaks to co-workers and customers in a friendly and engaged manner and be computer literacy skills
• Customer service oriented and sales skills are top notch. Assess a customer’s needs quickly and sell them a solution, providing all sorts of support to aid them in their buying decision
• Actively approaching customers to identify their needs by asking the right questions, and advising them on the best solutions for their homes. Passion for selling, reaching your goals and getting the best for IKEA customers
• Good decision maker, ability to work independently and reliably on working methods and to find solutions to customer and operational issues. Experienced in creating and implementing short-term plans and following up goals
• Willing to work with shifting hours and based in Bali
