About this position

The Spa Trainer at InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping is responsible for overseeing daily spa operations, providing training to staff, ensuring excellent guest services, managing operational aspects, and promoting spa services.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
• Staff Supervision and Training: Oversee daily spa operations, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Provide comprehensive training to spa staff on treatments, customer service, and safety protocols.
• Monitor staff performance, offering feedback and coaching to maintain high service standards.
• Guest Services: Ensure guests receive outstanding service by maintaining a welcoming environment and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Provide detailed information about spa services, treatments, and procedures.
• Operational Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spa supplies and products.
• Ensure all spa areas and equipment meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide specialized guest services as needed.
• Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell spa services and retail products to enhance revenue.
• Implement marketing strategies and special promotions to attract and retain clients.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a spa or related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of spa services, treatments, and industry trends.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
