About this position

InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping is a contemporary hotel with 240 rooms and 5 dining venues, located near the heritage site of Wat Chang Kong in Chiang Mai Old Town. The General Manager will lead operational activities and enhance the guest experience by blending local culture with modern hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Leading all aspects of operational activities of the hotel.
• Developing creative ideas to drive local and international visitors to the Resort.
• Drive F&B revenue to achieve ROI.
• Recruiting, leading, managing and motivating a strong team, upskilling, recruiting, measuring and managing performance.
• Prioritising relationships with owners, guests and external contacts such as current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers and local communities.

Requirements

• Seasoned luxury General Manager experienced in hotel operations in Asia.
• Strong Food & Beverage background.
• Strong financial acumen with proven results.
• Experience working in Asia and/or Thailand with a strong geographical knowledge.
• Fluency in English. Other languages preferred.
