About this position

The Assistant Security Manager at InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring safety and compliance, and fostering a secure environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and coordinating the daily security operations of the hotel.
• Supervise, train, and mentor the security team to ensure professionalism and preparedness.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns, ensuring effective resolution.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor the hotel premises using surveillance systems, access controls, and routine patrols.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety and other safety protocols.
• Work closely with other departments to align security measures with operational needs.
• Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities as needed.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Support audits and inspections related to safety and security standards.
• Create a welcoming and safe environment, embodying IHG’s 'True Hospitality for Good' philosophy.
• Train colleagues on security awareness, emphasizing IHG’s values of respect and integrity.
