About this position

IHG® is one of the world’s leading hotel companies, committed to providing True Hospitality for Good. We are seeking a passionate leader for the position of Public Relations Manager at Regent Bali Canggu, who can blend informality and fun with professionalism and sophistication.

Responsibilities

• Media strategy: Responsible for further developing, implementing and fine-tuning the organization’s media strategy. Building media relations; identifying media opportunities; anticipating challenges and coordinating responses.
• Media handling: To be the first point of contact for media enquiries, liaising with key staff to ensure that journalists are provided with statements or interviews as appropriate.
• When appropriate undertaking press, TV & radio interviews and identifying appropriate staff to comment and undertake interviews.
• Internal Communications: to support the internal communications requirements of the Communications & Marketing team.
• Social media. Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to support the resort’s growing social media requirements by supplying content and dovetailing with traditional media activity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in public relations or media management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in crisis management and media handling.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
