About this position

The Head of Finance & Accounting Department is responsible for the overall management of all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing financial reporting and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Overall management all aspect of the Finance & Accounting functions including Accounting, Finance, Tax and Financial reporting.
• Demonstrating a good understanding of IFRS reporting.
• Collaborating with the sales team to work on special deals.

Internal Control:
• Ensure compliance with internal regulation, statutory, and fiscal requirements and timetables.
• Maintain a focused system of internal controls, which will provide an effective and efficient control over company assets, liabilities, revenue costs and expenses.

Financial Report and Cashflow management:
• Supervising the processes for financial planning and forecasting, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly submission of financial report including actual performance and forecast to regional headquarter.
• Ensure creditability and financial cashflow by providing timely and accurate analysis of CF budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
• Presenting financial reports, and cash flow statement with the analysis of financial results.
• Lead annual budget preparation that includes reviewing present and future business plans to develop the annual budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPD and CPA qualified preferred.
• Proven experience as a head of accountant, financial controller, or similar role in the Accounting/Finance function.
• Significant management experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
• Automotive background is an advantage.
• Excellence logical thinking skill.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal - both Thai and English.
