This role involves collaborating closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services, while also addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. The position reports directly to the After-sales Manager, contributing to the overall success of the company's service offerings.
Responsibilities
• Manage sales responsibilities for assigned business units and customer service in Thailand.
• Drive business development for both existing and new customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain relationships.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to manage customer relationships.
• Initiate the quotation process for customer service offerings and generate sales leads.
• Communicate market information and updates to the Regional Sales Manager and team.
• Identify projects and opportunities across all business units in the market.
• Ensure effective communication between customers and internal departments.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, and finalize contracts.
• Adhere to company guidelines for pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
• Manage order intake and ensure pricing quality.
• Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities.
• Oversee the sales budget and forecast.
• Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage customer relationships.
• Coordinate with headquarters for regional business solutions and requirements.
• Assist customers in finding solutions and developing contracts.
• Aftersales Strategy, Incoterm, Sales spare parts, retrofit, and Warranty
Requirements
• CRM: Utilization and responsibility for dedicated data set
• Develop CS Business in the BU to reach budget targets
• Develop new business areas for market growth in Thailand
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Sales experience in capital expenditures/investment goods
• Technical background in machinery sales
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal software (Intranet, SAP)
• Experience with quotation, CRM, and CS Web
• Strong social competence and entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
• Sales flair and strong negotiating skills
