About this position
The Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and productivity. This role involves identifying areas for improvement, designing and implementing process changes, and monitoring performance metrics. The Process Engineer will report to the Director of Operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities

• Design and implement process control systems to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct process audits and identify areas for improvement in terms of safety, cost, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns in process performance.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Lead process improvement projects, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Train and mentor production personnel on new processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and qualify new materials and equipment.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in process engineering to drive innovation and stay competitive.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of process optimization and improvement techniques
• Proficiency in using process simulation software and other relevant tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
