About this position
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within the company. They will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful execution of projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, design, and implementation.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a project engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
