About this position

The Industrial Engineer (IE) is responsible for optimizing the company's industrial processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the IE will analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and improving the efficiency of production processes.
• Designing and implementing systems to optimize resource utilization.
• Conducting time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and streamline operations.
• Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure product consistency.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Utilizing statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to identify areas for improvement.
• Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for various manufacturing processes.
• Conducting cost analysis and recommending cost-saving measures.
• Identifying and implementing automation solutions to increase productivity.
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on process improvements and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using industrial engineering software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
