About this position

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role involves analyzing data, conducting root cause analysis, and developing strategies to optimize workflows and eliminate waste. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the company's commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, and develop action plans to address identified issues.
• Lead and facilitate process improvement projects, including defining project scope, objectives, and timelines.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to drive process optimization and waste reduction.
• Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement principles and techniques.
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in continuous improvement methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
