Sales Engineer Vietnam (Food machinery - Vietnam)
About this position
Responsibilities
- Determine the sales potential in the Food Machinery & Processing sector in Vietnam by performing market studies and by quantifying the opportunity
- Identify potential customers and develop suitable business relationships and opportunities in order to increase the company's presence in Vietnam and ultimately profitable business
- Undertake customer visits to develop business relationships and to gather information and technical discussions prior to issuing proposals
- Assist the Applications department to develop a technically sound and commercially viable proposition to the customers
- Ensure constant communication with the customer to ensure that sufficient information has been provided until the deal closing
- Identify and attend suitable conferences/exhibitions/business events in order to develop business relationships and provide technical discussions/presentations to help demonstrate the technical and commercial benefits of the company solutions.
- Report your business activities to the CEO based in Thailand (sales forecasts, P&L, budgets) and perform regular travel visits to Thailand
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering (or equivalent with a technical background)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in selling machinery & industrial equipment or related industry within the food industry
- Outgoing & persuasive personality
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
- Proactive, self-reliant & goal-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Possess existing technical knowledge & understanding of processes in the food industry
- Excellent written & verbal English skills
- Own a vehicle to travel locally
- Readiness to travel frequently locally & in Thailand
