About this position

We are looking for a quotation/costing Engineer to accurately and efficiently provide project estimates, ensuring projects are completed within budget. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining costs, reviewing design selections, preparing RFQ answers, analyzing customer specifications, and estimating production costs for wire harness product. Responsibilities

• Develop accurate estimates for engineering projects
• Research technical drawings and documents for project scope
• Create cost models and tools for estimating
• Present cost estimates to management
• Analyze vendor quotations and prepare bid comparisons
• Track project costs throughout lifecycle
• Build relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively
• Adjust estimates for changes in project scope
• Identify cost savings opportunities and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics or Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Experience of at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Drawing Reading skills will be preferred, especially for electrical products.
• Basic knowledge of costing.
• Detail-oriented with engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in MS-Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP/R3 Transaction will be prior considered.
• Proficiency in English language for written and verbal communication.
