About this position

We are seeking an innovative R&D Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency and consistency. You will analyze and resolve production issues and customer complaints, coordinating with various departments to optimize operations and minimize losses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product samples for the sales team to present to customers.
• Inspect and test the properties of various raw materials used in production to ensure they are suitable for the products according to customer requirements.
• Study the properties of all raw materials used in the production process to provide a foundation for developing new products.
• Prepare Sample Acceptance documentation for products to align with the ISO 9001 system for customers.
• Create Raw Material Specifications for each type of raw material as reference information for other departments, aligning with the ISO 9001 system.
• Check the sample specifications provided by the sales department to determine the types of raw material components.
• Analyze and develop new raw materials with quality equivalent to existing materials but at a lower cost.
• Send finished product analysis according to the Ministry of Public Health Announcement No. 295 B.E. 2548 (2005).
• Analyze and propose technical solutions for production issues to other departments within the company.
• Analyze WVTR (Water Vapor Transmission Rate) and O2TR (Oxygen Transmission Rate) for each product structure.
• Comply with company regulations and quality systems such as GMP, HACCP, ISO9001, and BRC/PPM, and ensure subordinates adhere to quality, safety, and company regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry.
• Prior experience in research and product development is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English for work-related tasks.
• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office programs.
• Not colorblind.
