About this position

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) is responsible for conducting defect analysis, identifying root causes of issues, and providing support in problem analysis related to electronic components and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Able to undertake internal production defect analysis and, under mentorship, identify root causes of issues.
• Capable of identifying component-level failures and providing preliminary analysis and explanations.
• Able to conduct thorough problem analysis with support from R&D FAEs and development engineers.
• Proactively completes various tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Specialized knowledge in electronic components, electronic circuits, and the ability to analyze issues related to electronic circuits.

Requirements

• Understanding the basic characteristics of common electronic components.
• Familiarity with the working principles of common electronic circuits, including knowledge of analog and digital electronics fundamentals.
• Basic proficiency in English, capable of using fundamental software tools.
• Strong practical skills, familiar with common electronic failure analysis equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and DC power supplies.
• Proficiency in basic operations of office software like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Possess qualities of diligence, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning.
