About this position

The SAP Master Data Governance Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SAP Master Data Governance processes, ensuring data quality and compliance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Manage data lifecycle processes, including data creation, maintenance, validation, and archiving across SAP modules.
• Establish and monitor data quality metrics to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business requirements.
• Conduct regular data audits and implement corrective actions to address data quality issues.
• Provide guidance and training to business and technical teams on data governance practices and SAP MDG functionalities.
• Act as a liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and data stewards to ensure alignment on data governance priorities.
• Support data migration and transformation projects to ensure data governance standards are upheld.
• Oversee SAP MDG-related projects and enhancements, including change management and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and data management.
• Proven experience in leading data governance initiatives and SAP MDG implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MDG configuration, data models, and workflow setup.
• Proficient understanding of data quality management and data lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on data governance.
