About this position

The position involves providing Database Administration (DBA) support during SAP development and production phases, focusing on maintaining the integrity and performance of the HANA database.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP Basis Consultant and assist CAP Application Team on Database related task.
• Support maintenance of current HANA database for the SAP system on the development and production server on High Availability environment.
• Manage and apply patches for database as necessary.
• Keep the technical integrity of the database.
• Supporting the helpdesk team in technical issues related to database.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database problem.
• Monitor database performance and perform basic tuning and configure database to maintain performance.
• Develop operational system procedure (e.g. backup, restore, etc).
• Perform database backup and restore using IBM Spectrum Protect and Cristie.
• Understanding of the deliverables.
• Deployment plan and Service delivery plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study.
• Experienced as Database Administrator for SAP (HANA) for more than 4 (four) years.
• Knowledge of ITSM tools and IT Asset Management.
• Soft Skills (Communication, Customer Service, Problem Solving, Team Collaboration, Time Management).
