About this position

The Strategic Sourcing Services Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Procurement strategy by collaborating with Category teams and managing supplier relationships to ensure the seamless supply of goods and services to HSBC Group entities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the achievement of the overall Procurement strategy by providing support to the Category teams on all aspects of the Category and Commodity strategy.
• Ensure seamless supply of goods and services to HSBC Group entities.
• Actively supports the management of all aspects of the supplier lifecycle through strategy, business engagement, tender, negotiation and contract management, ensuring the best interests of HSBC are served in managing the Group’s Agreements.
• Provides support for the Category Team on commercial analysis, negotiations and vendor lifecycle management and will also lead in these areas as required with the support and guidance of the Category/Commodity Manager.
• Ensure that discrepancies and invoice queries are effectively investigated and resolved or appropriately referred with recommendations.
• Provide full support to internal Customers in all elements of order processing in line with Procurement’s policies and procedures, considering and advising on Commodity specific constraints where appropriate, including but not limited to the use of only Bank preferred Suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business administration or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Procurement or Resourcing administrative activities.
• Resourceful, energetic, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong command of English & Thai.
