About this position

The IT Application Engineer (Labelling) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining labeling systems and solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring data accuracy and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design or modify labeling templates, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Deploy labeling & manufacturing solutions across different IT environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Manage and maintain accurate data associated with IT systems, including serial numbers, specifications, and other relevant information.
• Implement quality control measures to enhance the accuracy and reliability of labeling processes.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to address technical challenges and ensure the uninterrupted functioning of manufacturing processes.
• Develop and setup manufacturing related systems (MES, middleware, etc.
• Ensure that applications comply with business requirements, industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and modify labeling templates for IT systems.
• Ensure that labeling templates comply with business requirements, industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Deploy and integrate labeling solutions across different IT environments.
• Work closely with IT teams to seamlessly incorporate labeling processes into existing workflows.
• Support internal and external applications as needed.
• Manage and maintain accurate data related to IT systems, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to labeling requirements and standards.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to uphold data integrity.
• Conduct regular audits of labeling systems to identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of labeling processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams, procurement, and asset management teams to streamline labeling procedures and enhance overall asset tracking capabilities.
• Provide training and support to end-users on labeling processes and best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in labeling technologies.
• Propose and implement improvements to labeling systems and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Applications Engineer or similar role.
• Fluent in Thai & English language, Chinese/Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of labeling standards, including barcoding and QR codes.
• Proficiency in relevant technologies and tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server or other RDMS, and Visual Studio programming tools.
• Experience in Manufacturing Execution System, ERP System. Knowledge in Tulip MES & Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 is an advantage.
• Experience in SATO Multilabelist 4 or 5, Nice Label designer tools is an advantage.
• Positive thinking, able to self-starter, willing to learn new things, and flexible to changes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skill.
