About this position

The HR Leader is responsible for overseeing payroll compliance, administering compensation reviews, maintaining HR documentation, and leading the HR team to ensure effective HR practices and policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Payroll Compliance: Ensure payroll processes are compliant with local regulations and organizational policies, while leading the HR team to guarantee timely and accurate payroll processing, salary compensation, and reward programs.
• Administer Compensation Reviews: Support the annual salary review process, including performance management data and bonus payments.
• Maintain HR Documentation: Keep all HR documents, such as policies, manuals, job descriptions, and organization charts, up to date and properly organized.
• Communicate Policies Effectively: Support explain salary and compensation policies to employees, fostering understanding and adherence.
• Analyze HR Data: Gathering HR data and analyzing to identify trends and insights that inform talent management strategies, enhancing workforce planning and development.
• Optimize HRIS Functionality: Collaborate with IT and HR teams to optimize the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for improved user experience and functionality.
• Update Policies and Procedures: Improve and update policies and procedures related to payroll and HR data management, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Support Expatriate Administration: Assist with expatriate payroll and administration, including relocation and localization processes, to ensure smooth transitions for international employees.
• Provide Training and Support: Offer training and support to employees on HRIS usage and payroll-related inquiries.
• Lead and Mentor the HR Team: Foster the development of HR subordinates by leading and mentoring the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Manage Employee Inquiries: Address employee inquiries holistically, ensuring all concerns are resolved effectively and efficiently.
• Conduct Exit Interviews: Perform exit interviews to gather insights on employee departures, providing analytical reports.
• Process Employment Transactions in System: Handle employment data in system, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring timely preparation of data in system.
• Ensure Audit Readiness: Maintain master control records and quality documentation to ensure compliance and readiness for audits at any time.
• Adapt to Business Needs: Adapt to changing business priorities, completing any additional HR-related tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Human Resources
• Good working knowledge of local labour legislations and human resources practices
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Strong planning and organizing skills, independent, result orientated and a team player
• Positive attitude, pro-active and highly motivated individual
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with at least one HRIS / HR payroll system
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, or equivalent
