About this position

The HSE Specialist is responsible for overseeing safety work in engineering projects, implementing management measures, and continuously improving safety regulations and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily supervision of safety work for engineering projects in the assigned region, and implement various management measures of the company and department;
• Assist in organizing and participating in the formulation and updating of safety-related rules, regulations, and processes, continuously refining and optimizing the safety management system;
• Conduct safety inspections based on the safety risk characteristics of the assigned region, address violations and hazards, supervise the rectification of hazards, and promote 6S management improvements and safety culture development through inspections;
• Analyze construction processes and work methods for engineering projects, promote process improvements and equipment upgrades to reduce construction safety risks and enhance inherent safety;
• Handle accident and incident analysis and follow-up, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Safety Engineering or related fields;
• Over 3 years of experience in construction safety management;
• Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001;
• Fluent in Chinese or English;
• Ability to handle safety accidents and unexpected issues;
• Strong skills in safety inspection, organization, coordination, communication, as well as problem analysis and resolution;
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work proactively under pressure;
• Willingness to travel as required.
