Hongsa Power Co.,Ltd is a joint venture US$3.7 billion, 1,878 MW lignite-fired power plant in Hongsa District, Sayabouly province, The business is a lignite mining and electricity generation facilities on a 70 square km, more than 300 km from Vientiane Capital yet only 35 km from Nan province, Thailand. The power plant will have 3 units, 626 MW each, and it is expected to start commercial operation by 2015. Hongsa Power Co.,Ltd is a shared enterprise from Ratchaburi Holding with 40%, Banpu Power Co., Ltd. with 40% and LHSE with 20%. The company is a result of a effort to address the increases in demand for electricity as well as to stimulate the socio – economic development.

About this position

To develop, implement and maintain a quality management system including quality improvement tools and methodologies for all HPC functions; Power Plant, Mining and support functions, in order to maximize productivity and quality, and minimize cost and waste toward sustainable development goals of HPC.

Responsibilities

• Set-up the process needed for implementation of quality management system, quality improvement and quality problem solving program and project to all HPC function.
• Manage the selected quality improvement tools, methodologies and a management system to related HPC functions.
• Develop quality procedures in conjunction with all related divisions to drive business standardization.
• Monitor the implementation performance of quality management system, quality improvement activity and quality problem solving project.
• Manage the continuous improvement process in order to enhance the quality performance and operation and work process.
• Set and manage the people development plan of corporate quality.
• Support and participate with Innovation working team to reaching our innovative organization goal and support to promote the innovation project within our organization.

Requirements

• Graduated Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, science or management field.
• Proficiency knowledge of ISO, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, QCC, VSM and Quality improvement tool.
• Project management skill and Inclusive Leadership.
• Creative Thinking and Innovativeness.
• Interpersonal Communication.
• Have TOEIC more than 600.
• Fair in English usage, especially writing skill and speaking.
• Have more than 5 years work experiences in quality management system or other related management system.
