About this position

Ensures innovative and cost-effective proposals in alignment with Hitachi Energy’s standards and targets. Supports pre-sales technical and commercial activities for internal and external customers, in accordance with the APAC HUB strategy.

Responsibilities

• You will develop and implement pre-sales support and bidding strategy in close collaboration and alignment with sales plan (Thailand).
• You will oversee the preparation of techno-commercial proposals, ensure all proposals adhere to the relevant company’s procedures and guidelines, support Bid/No-Bid analyses and decisions (Gate 2).
• You will review and oversee the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) in each proposal, with support from subject-matter experts, manage and participate in the deal risk review and approval process.
• You will ensure the most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer’s priorities and conditions and identify and propose the optimum deal structure for each opportunity.
• You will plan, forecast, evaluate and manage workload to ensure tendering resources are adequately deployed, developed, and equipped to meet business needs. You will plan and allocate internal and/or external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.
• You will ensure support to the Sales organizations during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiation with customers and provides technical support and clarification as needed.

Requirements

• You hold bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar role in Electrical Engineering or Power Industry.
• Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power Transmission & Distribution, Power Systems, with demonstrable technical knowledge of substation automation systems and protection systems.
• Conversant with MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.
• Able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across functions and positions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
