Sr. Service Sales Engineer (Substation)
About this position
The Sr. Service Sales Engineer (Substation) is responsible for driving sales volume and margin, establishing customer relationships, preparing sales plans, identifying new market opportunities, and monitoring market trends.
Responsibilities
• Driving sales volume and margin across the Grid Integration or transformer portfolio.
• Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and Hitachi Energy solutions.
• Preparing sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
• Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team.
• Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-5 years experience with a passion for service sales and sound substation knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong verbal and written English communication skills.
