About this position

The Purchasing Engineer is responsible for managing procurement processes, analyzing costs, and sourcing new suppliers while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Request for Quotation and proposing maker layout base on the purchasing policy under consideration on target factors of QCD (Cost, Quality, Delivery) evaluate.
• Analyze cost comparison with difference between base model and New Model for promote cost improvement.
• Create cost reduction idea by VA/VE, benchmark, base allocation, volume consolidation, production method, cost competition etc.
• Calculate cost of part for proposal and negotiation to supplier.
• Seeking new sourcing for new specification, competition and selection.
• Problem solving in order to fulfil purchasing responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Experience 2-5 Year in Purchasing engineer position from Multinational company.
• Good command of spoken and written English or Japanese.
• Ability to use Ms. office the good. (Excel expert for advantage).
• Knowledge base on ISO/IATF 16949/ISO 14001/45001, ISO 9000 and Other.
• Responsibility and quick learning.
• Communication/negotiation/ sourcing skill.
