About this position

The Senior Sales Engineer at Henkel will be responsible for executing local sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, collaborating with global teams, and updating administrative tasks. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in chemical/material engineering, 5-7 years of field sales experience, and good communication skills in English and Thai.

Responsibilities

• Execute local sales plans (short, mid, long term) in line with SBU strategy to maintain and develop existing/acquire new customers.
• Identify new business opportunities by developing new key accounts and supporting/managing distributors in order to achieve the sales growth target.
• Strengthen existing customer relationships, developing activity plans and sales strategies for assigned accounts.
• Closely collaborate with regional/global team(s) to drives local execution of sales opportunities which require spec-in activities.
• Works with cross-functional team(s), application engineers, customer services, demand/supply planners, logistics etc., to maintain existing business operation and successful execution of new sales opportunities.
• Responsible for timely and accurate administrative tasks including sales forecast updates, demand planning, ACE opportunity pipeline management, customer visit reports, and monthly business review updates.
• Continuously update professional selling skills to keep pace with the practical daily business and in-depth knowledge of Henkel products and their application in customer processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/Material Engineering or relevant fields.
• At least 5-7 years field sales experience.
• Has customer experience in Automotive industry.
• Good communication in English and Thai.
• Able to communicate in Chinese is preferable.
