About this position

The position of SAP S4 HANA - Senior Finance Consultant involves working on S4HANA Transformation programs, focusing on the analysis, design, and implementation of finance solutions while coaching project teams and addressing integration issues.

Responsibilities

• To work as a Senior Consultant on S4HANA Transformation programs.
• Analysis of business requirements.
• Design and implementation of S4 HANA based Finance solutions.
• Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues.
• Coach and develop skills within a project team.
• Work effectively in mixed client and consultancy teams.

Requirements

• SAP S4 HANA Finance Architecture.
• Can conceptualise and communicate proposal – making complex ideas look simple.
• Outcome oriented – maximizing balance of effort vs benefit to achieve objectives.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work under own initiative and under tight time pressures - planning, prioritising and controlling own workload.
• Precise approach to project management and procedures.
• Ability to assert own ideas to business and within business senior management.
• Is able to give strong coaching and feedback where needed to team members.
• Uses a set of basic consulting tools, is able to conduct one-to-one interviews with middle managers.
• Can contribute to a mixed workshop process.
• Detailed knowledge of business requirements and solutions in their focus area (Technology, Industry or LOB).
• Mobilise and motivate a project team.
• Ability to organise and co-ordinate diverse groups in complex situations.
• Broad content experience across multiple lines of business.
• Broad technical appreciation – including ALL key SAP Finance functionality and technology. With ability to rapidly assess new technology solutions.
• Manages design workshops on multiple areas of expertise.
• Command the respect and confidence of other Solution Leads.
• Ability to develop methods and tools and contribute to Solution Team strategy.
• Able to effectively manage a team of consultants.
• Understands delivery within a fixed price model and able to operate effectively within those constraints.
• Can take ownership of sub-plans for specific processes and can plan own time to ensure project milestones are met.
• Able to take an issue, then plan and deliver a solution using own initiative, with little guidance.
• Identifies and escalates issues and risks within project structure.
• Can build strong relationships with consultants within the project.
• Able to receive feedback / coaching on performance from other members of the team positively.
• Have a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Extensive SAP implementation experience using integrated financials. Ability to design innovative finance solutions combining use of Digital Core, Cloud and SAP Cloud Platform elements.
• Understanding of the use of SAP technology to meet the opportunities of continuous accounting.
• Extensive experience in the areas of Inter-company accounting (including Transfer Pricing), Taxation (including Tax Localization for Vietnam), GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Overhead Cost Controlling, Profit Centre Accounting, Banking, Cash Management, Financial Supply Chain Management.
• Good experience in the areas of Product costing (Material Ledger, Actual Costing.
