Senior Accounting (AP, GL)
About this position
The Senior Accounting (AP, GL) position is responsible for overseeing accounts payable, general ledger, financial reporting, and supporting the finance team. The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting, at least 5 years of experience in AP or GL accounting, proficiency in ERP systems, and strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
• Oversee accounts payable and general ledger functions
• Verify accuracy of expense recording and accounts payable entries according to TFRS
• Prepare detailed financial statements and support financial reporting
• Prepare monthly sales comparison reports and calculate employee commissions quarterly
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general ledger accounting in a company using ERP systems (Experience in a large corporation or with SAP is a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Detail-oriented, highly responsible, proactive, team-oriented, and positive attitude towards work
