Manufacturing Engineering Manager
About this position
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of site Manufacturing Engineering activities to ensure customer and employee satisfaction, as well as improving efficiency of manpower, materials, and machines.
Responsibilities
• Manage process deployment in Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and manufacturing performance measures.
• Provide leadership for problem resolution and improved working relationships.
• Lead Manufacturing Engineering team for different projects and handle team development.
• Lead product transfer, new product launch, and technical projects implementation.
• Work with other staff for successful product launches and SOP.
• Drive continuous process improvement and upgrade technology.
• Improve process performance for high first-pass yield and lower production scrap.
• Identify equipment, process improvement, environmental activities, and provide technical support.
• Identify new equipment to reduce costs and analyze tool design for efficiency.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Minimum 10 years operations management experience in automotive manufacturing engineering.
• Proficient in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent project and program management skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally if needed.
• Willingness to work in an office in the plant.
