About this position

Be an owner of Engineering Change task/project, thoroughly understand changing point, demonstrate change options, course, and effect with change decision matrix. Timely and robust closure of action register and build countermeasures. Work through effectively communicating complex information with stakeholders. Manage multiple Engineering Change Projects as assigned to PPAP/iPPAP.

Responsibilities

• Follow up/leading project by communication/ meeting with H-D cross-functional team/supplier both local and oversea.
• Flawless execution of the fundamentals: Requirements, timelines, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVP&R, risk management.
• Update/ create 2D/3D CAD as required with Creo Parametric software.
• Review 3D CAD, 2D drawing with Creo View.
• Target 100% PPAP approval prior product implementation.
• Solves engineering issues relating to quality, cost, and timing expectations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience and judgement with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
• Provides informal guidance to new design engineer team members and delegates responsibilities to team members when appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• English communication skill Clear and accurate.
• Logical and proactive thinker.
• Strong in Project management.
• Good presentation skill.
• Experience in Product Development & Design, DVP&R, FEA, Engineering test, GD&T.
• Experience in PPAP/APQP/DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plan.
• Experience Manufacturing process.
• Follow best practice ECR/ECN/ECA on PLM/Windchill Job Aids.
• Self-taught, Follow best practice/ H-D Engineering guideline.
• Fair, Honest, Positive and Creative.
• Challenging to take ownership action on grey area/task.
• Demonstrates working knowledge and experience of new and changing technology through continuous learning to develop high quality engineering products and continuously improve processes. Ability to drive results with a moderate level of guidance and direction.

• Elevate urgency & timeliness of root cause identification issue resolution and project implementation.
• Proactively/Vigilant Engineering Change Management. Robust action plans to achieve change closure.
• Ensure dimensional verification and complete both virtual and physical fitment verifications prior to all build events (DV, PV, PP, SOP).
• Urgency: Take immediate action when issues surface. Own it, communicate, ask for help if needed. Don’t allow little problems grow into big issues.
• Maintain 5S throughout work area.
• Minimum 8 years motorcycle or automotive/vehicle experience is preferred.
• Toeic 800+
• Experience with Pro-E/Creo skills with a minimum of 4000 hours.
• Solid experience in Engineering Product Development.
