About this position

The position of Oversea Buyer & Procurement Engineer involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring quality and delivery performance for purchased goods, while also supporting new product introductions and managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Sources suppliers for new purchasing requirements
• Develops additional sources of suppliers for existing purchasing requirement.
• Provides services to requestors for new product & service
• Negotiates and monitors prices, payment terms, conditions and delivery lead time with suppliers
• Places orders & expedites delivery of purchased goods from suppliers.
• Monitors supplier's quality, delivery and customer service performance.
• Perform sourcing Suppliers and pricing for New Customer in New Product Introduction phase.
• Sources suppliers for custom parts (PCB, Flex circuit, Plastic parts, Metal parts)
• Coordinates with internal team on the technical aspect of the purchased prices.
• Places orders & expedites delivery of purchased goods from suppliers.
• Visits & qualifies new suppliers.
• Monitors supplier's quality, delivery and customer service performance.
• Monitor & Analyze market price and supply chain risk assessment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field, English, Marketing, Business Administration or Science is preferred.
• Minimum 2-year experience in supplier quality engineering or technical (electronics /electrical) procurement functions, with good knowledge of sources, or experience in sourcing/buying parts in electronics manufacturing firm(s), with ability to contact/negotiate with overseas vendors.
• Good communication of English and computer skill.
• Able to work in Lamphun province
• Must be fully fluent in Thai (No Thai work permit providing)
• Bachelor's degree in engineering field or Material Science
• Minimum 2-year experience in supplier quality engineering or technical (electronics /electrical) procurement functions, with good knowledge of sources, or experience in sourcing/buying parts in electronics manufacturing firm(s), with ability to contact/negotiate with overseas vendors.
• Good communication of English and computer skill.
• Able to work in Lamphun province
