In 2015, the Air Conditioning Technical Training Center was established as ASEAN regional and also the first Technical Training Center of Haier in overseas. In Marketing term, we provide our services and products which are Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Air Conditioner, Freezer & Beverage Cooler, Television, Water Heater and Microwave Oven via more than 300 sale networks in Thailand.

About this position

The Legal Counsel (Specialist) position involves overseeing corporate governance, compliance management, contract management, litigation management, and intellectual property management to ensure the company's legal interests are protected and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing corporate policies and charters.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
• Advising on board matters and shareholder meetings.
• Liaising with government authorities and industry regulators.
• Filing necessary applications, licenses, and permits.
• Advocating for the company in policy discussions affecting the industry.
• Developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring adherence.
• Training employees on legal and compliance issues.
• Drafting, reviewing, leading on, conclude and initiating contracts (e.g., vendor agreements, partnerships, dealers).
• Mitigating legal risks in business dealings.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all contracts align with organizational goals and legal standards.
• Identifying potential legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Representing the company in disputes or coordinating with external counsel.
• Managing legal claims, litigation, or arbitration processes.
• Protecting and enforcing the company’s IP rights (trademarks, copyrights, patents).
• Addressing potential IP infringement issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Lawyer license will be advantage.
• Minimum 5-8 years of legal practice of in-house counsel experience preferred.
• Good command for both Thai and English skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communications skills.
• Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
