About this position

This Demand Planning Executive is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for the customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, trade marketing, and other sources (historical sales data etc.).

Responsibilities

• This position is the information pool for the Demand Planning Manager positions by performing the following main duties:
• Develop and create demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation by sales channels for multiple time.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales, trade marketing, and marketing assumptions.
• Interact with sales, marketing, and trade marketing to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Trade marketing to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
• Closely coordinate and communicate Planned independent requirements (PIR) with supply planning.
